Man Tracker
New Adventure for 2009.
Do you think you are as good as the Man Tracker, or would
you like to out smart the Man Tracker.
You can choose to be the Man Tracker or the Prey, here
at Whinny Acres.
In conjunction with the Saugeen Conservation, Grey County
Forests, and many private property owners, we have found
a couple of low traffic locations to host our own Man Tracker
weekends. Although it will be on a smaller scale, we believe
it will be great practice and fun way to see how you would
fare up with the Man Tracker T.V. Show.
When booking you may choose whether you would like to
be the Man Tracker or the Prey, or stay for a double header
and be both.
On your first night of arrival, you will be set up in
a Bunkie for a good night’s sleep, and a hearty breakfast,
before heading out to your remote drop off.
The Prey will be required to travel 25 kilometres over
the day, and will be equipped with a map, compass, radio
(For emergencies only) and food. The prey is required to
bring there own Back Pack, and gear (boots, clothing etc.).
The Man Tracker will be provided a horse, food, saddlebags
for personal belongings, and an experienced horseperson
knowledgeable about the area for the horse’s abilities.
The Preys object is to make it to there destination by
6:00 p.m.
The Man Trackers object is to catch the Prey before they
make it to there destination.
Winners receive a Man Tracker Trophy.
